Living Sustainably
Kiama Matters Inc
Kiama Matters Groups
Liveability and Open Spaces
This Group is looking at the services available in our town that makes our Community easier to live in and to ensure that what we do is sustainable. This includes Transport, Safety, Environment and Climate, and the impacts of e-bikes (and fat bikes) on our footpaths and roads.
Housing
KMI members presented to Kiama Council prior to the July 2025 release of the new Local Housing Strategy. This Strategy significantly impacts housing availability, population growth, services and infrastructure. As the action plan is staged, there are opportunities to influence the Housing Strategy’s implementation and future housing outcomes.
Over the next 12-24 months KMI will provide a forum for our residents to develop innovative solutions for Council’s Housing Strategy.
